Man and woman in hospital after fight

A man and a woman ended up in hospital after a number of people were involved in a fight on the northside of Cork City during the early hours of yesterday morning.

Gardaí were informed at around 3.40am that violence had erupted at Courttown Drive, Knocknaheeny, which they believe is the result of a ongoing feud.

It is believed a number of women in a car called to a house. They were met by other people and a row ensued on the road outside the house which resulted in one woman sustaining head injuries.
