Irish star Dornan for ‘50 Shades’

Producers on the film Fifty Shades of Grey have finally found their leading man. Former Calvin Klein underwear model Jamie Dornan, from Northern Ireland, has landed the role of the arrogant and seductive Christian Grey, according to the Hollywood trade press.

And the potential move to Hollywood should be no problem for the 31-year-old actor who grew up in Hollywood, Co Down.

The actor was seen in the TV series Once Upon a Time and played psychopathic killer Paul Spector in the hit series The Fall. Dornan, who is married to singer Amelia Warner, was chosen over Scott Eastwood, Alexander Skarsgard, Billy Magnussen, and a number of other stars once in the running to play the sadomasochistic character, who has a predilection for bondage and other rather taboo bedroom activities.
