Skimming devices used to raid bank accounts

Hundreds of customers targeted by a skimming card scam have had money stolen from their bank accounts.

Officials from AIB, Bank of Ireland and Ulster Bank have contacted customers in Co Donegal after the elaborate swindle.

Skimming devices were put on banklink machines in Donegal Town up to six months ago but it is only now that the fraud is coming to light.
