Det Garda Pat Condon gave evidence at Cork District Court yesterday of arresting Ultan Moore of 60 Old Court, Greenfields, Ballincollig, Co Cork, and charging him with a total of four drug-related charges.

There was no objection to the accused being remanded on bail until the next court appearance. However, gardaí sought bail conditions which were agreed by the defendant through his solicitor, Pat Horan.

The bail conditions require Mr Moore to surrender his passport and not to apply for new travel documents, reside at 60 Old Court and notify gardaí of any change of address, abide by a curfew to be home nightly between 11pm and 7am, and sign three days a week at Ballincollig Garda Station.

Mr Horan said Mr Moore was a cab driver but had not worked at that for the past two years. He was appointed to represent him on free legal aid.

Judge Olann Kelleher adjourned the case until Oct 9 to allow time for directions from the DPP.
