Punters asked to enjoy a flutter for a good cause

The South Tipperary Tourism Company and Tipperary Racecourse has announced details of a county fundraiser that will take place at the course on Sunday, Oct 6. It coincides with Tipperary’s flagship Super Sunday fixture, featuring quality national hunt and flat racing as well as family entertainment.

Tickets to the event cost €60 and include a VIP race day experience in the High Chaparral diningroom overlooking the racecourse, two-course lunch, afternoon tea, racecards and entry into the raffle and sweepstakes competitions.

Tourism is a valuable asset to Tipperary and was worth €56m in 2012.

The funds raised at the raceday will go towards many of STTC projects such as the Tipperary Ten Walking Campaign, the Butler Trail, Tipperary Guidebook, county workshops and trade shows managed by the South Tipperary Tourism Company.
