Daniel O’Connell School revived

The Daniel O’Connell School, discontinued for a number of years in his native Co Kerry, is to be revived this week.

The achievements of The Liberator are to be recalled in Caherciveen and Derrynane next Friday and Saturday.

Chairwoman of the school, Mary O’Connor of Derrynane, said the event was a “kind of revival” as it had been active during the 1980s and 90s.
