Irish Examiner appoints new deputy political editor

The award-winning journalist began her career as a reporter in the RTÉ newsroom and first started covering politics as a weekly columnist for Village magazine.
She joined the Irish Examiner in 2006 and was awarded Young Journalist of the Year, followed by National Journalist of the Year, in the GSK Medical Media Awards. She joined the newspaper’s political team in 2008 and has been breaking agenda-setting news stories since, while also contributing analysis to national radio and television shows. As well as covering domestic politics, she has reported from Uganda, Ethiopia, the Middle East, Europe and the US, including from the White House.
