Secondary school in Cork begins new term at old hospital
St Angela’s College is about to undergo a major refurbishment and extension to its home on St Patrick’s Hill, and classes will run for the next two years at the old St Patrick’s Hospital on nearby Wellington Rd.
The historic building accommodated Marymount Hospice until its move to a new premises in Bishopstown and is now being leased by Griffith College. Part of it is sublet for use by the all-girls’ school.
