Irish woman found dead in Singapore

A 25-year-old woman from Dublin who recently moved to Singapore has been found dead in her apartment by a friend.

Orla Daly, originally from Clontarf in Dublin, had been living and working in Queenstown in Singapore for several months. It is understood she was found dead in her bed by a friend. The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has been in contact with the family and is offering consular assistance to Ms Daly’s parents who are believed to have flown to Singapore to bring their daughter’s body home.
