Footloose garda loses reserve at music fest

It’s being described as one of the highlights of the Indiependence music festival — the moment when a young garda on duty couldn’t resist the festival madness any more and started throwing a few shapes on stage.

There were roars of delight when the footloose garda, believed to be a member of the Garda Reserve, jumped up on stage alongside the 80s and 90s Crew and started giving it loads.

Clearly playing to the crowd who were whooping in delight, there were also roars of appreciation from his Garda colleagues who were holding their sides laughing.
