Varadkar fears for jobs if bus dispute not settled
It came hours after Transport Minister Leo Varadkar said the strike must be resolved before it risks the jobs of innocent commuters relying on the service. There was no indication at time of going to press that the strike would continue after the bank holiday.
Mr Varadkar made the claim after more than 3,000 bus drivers downed tools at midnight on Saturday over a long-running pay dispute with management.
