Drumm on defensive as more recordings emerge
As more secret tapes revealed the banker calling the Central Bank “thatfucking shower of clowns down in Dame Street”, Mr Drumm attacked what he called the “drip, drip, drip” release of phone recordings made at the bank in 2008.
He claimed politicians and people he described as “politically connectedformer bankers and politically protected senior public servants”, were making him a scapegoat and did not want to see their role in the crisis highlighted.
