Trains delayed by truck crash

Suburban train services were disrupted in Cork yesterday after a truck got jammed under a railway bridge in the city.

The Northern-Ireland registered truck became lodged under the bridge at the junction of Lower Glanmire Rd and Water St at 10.15am yesterday.

As it is one of the key outbound routes for the eastern side of the city, gardaí had to divert traffic at both sides of the bridge from Silver Springs and Summerhill North.
