O’Gara embarks on new journey in Paris

Rugby legend Ronan O’Gara kicks off a new career in new surroundings today as he begins life as a coach with French Top 14 side Racing Metro.

O’Gara flew to Paris from Cork yesterday to set up base before his wife Jessica and their four young children join him next month there.

Jacky Lorenzetti’s club has provided O’Gara with ready-made family accommodation in the city but the Munster legend is keen to focus on his coaching duties for the first few weeks, with French clubs returning to duty earlier than most other European domestic leagues.
