Man pleads guilty to rape of woman

A man pleaded guilty yesterday to raping a woman in Kanturk more than two years ago.

Sylvester Torrens, aged 31, with an address at Spring Lane, Blackpool, Cork, was arraigned yesterday at the Central Criminal Court sitting in Cork.

Torrens was arraigned on three counts and he pleaded guilty to all of them.
