Celebrity wedding planner’s company suffers dip in fortunes

Events company Weddings by Franc suffered an accumulated profits’ dip but life still appears to be a bed of roses for Peter Kelly after the success of his latest TV show.

Abridged accounts filed by personality Mr Kelly, who co-owns the Cork-based firm, show accumulated profits reduced by €204,559, from €563,369 to €358,810, in the 12 months to the end of Jun 30 last year.

Cash surplus also decreased, dropping from €146,111 to €18,717.
