Profits at actor Nesbitt’s firm top €560k
The Co Antrim native is best known for his roles in television dramas Bloody Sunday and Cold Feet. He has also starred in The Hobbit.
Accounts lodged with the UK-based Companies House by Nesbitt’s Brown Cow Films Ltd, show accumulated profits at the firm increased by €479,060 (€567,494) increasing from £1.426m to £1.9m.
The firm’s cash pile increased from £25,111 to £459,507 in the 12 months to the end of Mar 2012.
The performance compares very favourably with 2011’s data, when accumulated profits declined from £1.358m to £1.31m, with the actor’s firm’s cash decreasing sharply from £258,662 to £25,611.
The 48-year-old Ballymena native, who grew up in Coleraine, Co Derry, has won numerous awards, including Best TV Comedy Actor in 2000 for his portrayal of Adam Williams in Cold Feet.
