Doctors failing to file on time costs €61m

Doctors failing to file private insurance paperwork on time costs taxpayers €61m a year.

However, the head of the Oireachtas Public Account Committee has now called for an immediate explanation of this situation.

Fianna Fáil TD John McGuinness, made the call after senior HSE officials told the group the situation has not been resolved.
