UPC in the frame with broadband services

UPC announced yesterday that 300,000 current customers who have a TV and broadband bundle will have free access to its new Horizon TV app and online service.

The company is also offering a free upgrade to 200,000 older broadband customers who do not already have its entry- level speed of 50 mbps, which has available to all new customers since last year. About 150,000 customers will receive a new, free modem, while the remaining 50,000 will be able to access the improved broadband speed automatically.
