Pat hopes to net tidy sum for charity from ring sale

It’s the remarkable lost and found story that might just ring a bell.

It’s been just over a year since Cork angler Pat O’Flaherty landed the most unusual catch of his life.

But now that it’s legally his, he’s hoping that the “River Lee wedding ring” he caught while fishing just outside Cork City will help raise money for a suicide support group, Friends of Suicide Bereaved.
