Austrian couple stunned by Irish soccer fans’ kindness after robbery

An Austrian couple who had their match tickets and money stolen in Dublin were stunned when Irish soccer fans organised a whip-around for them.

Students Stefan Madlener, 22, and Valeria Lampert, 21, lost their tickets, bankcards, and cash when Valeria’s wallet was robbed on Wicklow St on Monday afternoon.

The Vienna University students tweeted about their bad luck and were stunned at the reaction from Irish fans who offered to help them out.
