Man charged with producing kitchen knife during stand-off with gardaí

A man appeared before a special court sitting yesterday charged in connection with a stand-off with armed gardaí in Limerick.

Robert Browne, aged 38, of no fixed abode, was charged with producing a large kitchen knife during the course of the stand-off with gardaí, at an apartment on John’s St, Limerick, on Friday, Mar 22.

He was also charged with trespassing at the apartment on the same date.
