Students’ CyberBuddy site to tackle bullying wins prize

A ‘CyberBuddy’ website, which allows students to report bullying to their schools in confidence, has won top prize in a competition for young entrepreneurs.

The winning all-girl team from Coláiste na Toirbhirte in Bandon were presented with a €500 prize and trophy after they won a Dragons’ Den-style competition.

The event showcases the business ideas of transition-year students in the West Cork town’s four secondary schools.
