Two jailed for forging elderly man’s will for land and cash

Two men who were found guilty to forging a will each had sentences imposed yesterday.

Describing Noel Hayes as the ring leader in the fraud, Judge Raymond Fullam imposed a sentence of six years, with three years suspended for three years, with a compensation order of €500,000.

In the case of William O’Leary the judge imposed a sentence of three years, with 18 months suspended for 18 months, and a compensation order of €200,000.
