Proud mum brings Barry’s Tea on the Oscar trail

The mother of Oscar nominee Fodhla Cronin O’Reilly has two things going for her: She keeps her daughter on the rails amidst the madness of Hollywood and — most importantly — she brought a packet of Barry’s Tea from her home in Cromane, South Kerry, all the way to LA.

“I would not have been able to survive without my Barry’s,” says producer Fodhla, who has been nominated for an Oscar for her film, Head Over Heels.

The short animated movie by Fodhla and American writer-director Timothy Reckart, is one of 10 films competing in the best animated short category for next Sunday’s Oscars.
