Irish studio animated about Emmy success despite mix-up

Staff at Irish animation studio Boulder Media learned they had won their first International Emmy at the weekend via Facebook.

The Dublin studio’s The Amazing World of Gumball won the trophy for best animation in the early hours of Saturday. The show, featuring a talking cat’s adventures, is watched by millions of children.

However, the team was not on hand to enjoy the champagne, caviar, and air kisses.
