More than 20,000 people have signed books of condolences for murdered Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe.

Tomorrow the town of Dundalk and much of the Cooley Peninsula, where he lived, is expected to come to a standstill for his State funeral.

Despite heavy rain and wind, more than 2,000 people queued to sign the book at the Garda stationin Dundalk yesterday or at St Pat’s GFC in Lordship.
