A brother of model and TV presenter Glenda Gilson has launched an appeal of his conviction in connection with a dangerous drug driving incident.

Last June, Dublin District Court had imposed a three-month suspended sentence and a €3,000 fine on Damien Gilson, 35, who was found guilty of driving under the influence of cannabis, on Sep 8, 2010.

Mr Gilson, of Raglan Road, Dublin, also received a six-year road ban.
