Teens held over Omagh murder

Three teenagers were being questioned last night about the murder of Monaghan man Jason McGovern.

The suspects aged 17, 18 and 19 were arrested in the Omagh area. A fourth man aged 21 was released on police bail pending further enquiries. The latest arrest, that of a 19-year-old man, came last night.

Mr McGovern, a 19-year-old student, died on New Year’s Eve, hours after he was attacked twice on a night out in the Co Tyrone town.
