Programs to allow parents check their child’s net searches

Internet safety programs will allow parents to examine a weekly report outlining what their children searched for on YouTube, Google, and Facebook.

Parental settings can also be put on iPads, phones, and laptops so that a child can only access the internet for a certain number of hours per day, according to international experts.

Trend Micro employs 5,000 people worldwide, including 220 in Cork, in internet security, dealing daily with everything from cybercrime to hacking.
