Cork orienteering course unveiled

A permanent orienteering course has been created in a 130-acre park in Co Cork.

The course, with 16 control points, has opened at the Regional Park in Ballincollig. The project is a joint initiative between the Cork Orienteering Club and Cork County Council.

The council is hoping the course will prove a hit as orienteering is growing in popularity.
