Man crushed by tractor in second workplace accident in a week

Two separate investigations are under way after a man was crushed to death in a workplace accident in Cork City yesterday.

The 21-year-old from Mallow, north Cork, suffered extensive crush injuries when he was pinned under a tractor as it was tipping a load on Gasworks Lane, off the South Link Rd at around 12.30pm.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
