Contractor ‘sad and upset’ school fixtures were taken

At a meeting in Thurles, Declan Breen, of DPB Construction in Roscrea, handed over 40% of the money owed in bank drafts, and said he will pay another 20% next week when the contractors supply him with paperwork.

He said: “They have already been paid money, so this will mean they will each get up to 93% of the original contract price, which in today’s climate is a very good deal. Everybody has been wronging me.”
