Film archivists face eviction in favour of homeless youths

A cultural group dedicated to the archiving of film found itself under threat of eviction in Cork yesterday.

The city council wants to house youngsters at risk of homelessness in part of a building used by the film archiving organisation An Scannanlann.

The voluntary film group is based at The Foyer on Assumption Rd in Cork.
