Home help cut ‘without warning’

Older people’s charity Age Action says home help hours are being cut or stopped without any advance warning.

“The cuts are horrendous and the way they are being handled is making a horrendous situation even worse,” said Age Action spokesman Eamon Timmins.

Age Action does not believe that informed, individual assessments are being made before home help hours are cut.
