Cheers as pubs join Michelin guide list

Glasses were being raised last night in hostelries around Cork as it emerged that seven of the county’s pubs have achieved listings in the latest edition of Michelin Eating Out In Pubs Guide.

Among them is a first-time listing for Deasy’s Harbour Bar & Seafood Restaurant at Ring, outside Clonakilty, whose appearance in the Guide follows its success in having achieved Michelin Bib Gourmand status in the prestigious 2013 Michelin Guide.

Other Cork pubs featured this year are An Súgán, Clonakilty; The Poacher’s Inn, Bandon; Mary Ann’s, Castletownshend; Cronin’s, Crosshaven; The Rising Tide, Glounthaune, and Toddies at the Bulman, Kinsale.
