Education Minister Ruairi Quinn has been urged to instruct all secondary schools to implement an effective and free anti-bullying programme.

The Anti-Bullying Campaign — Tools for Teachers programme, which was developed by teachers Sean Fallon and Mary Kent, is available to all schools for free.

Training for the scheme, which has already been implemented in some schools, is provided to groups of anti-bullying school co-ordinators who can then train their colleagues and ensure the programme is implemented as soon as possible.
