TD urges FG relaunch its referendum campaign

A Fine Gael TD has urged his party to “relaunch” its campaign on the children’s referendum amid fears people aren’t interested and the message is not getting through.

Derek Keating has written to Transport Minister Leo Varadkar, who is Fine Gael’s director of elections for the campaign.

In the letter, Mr Keating tells how he has witnessed at first hand voter apathy towards the Nov 10 referendum.
