Gang’s ‘top dog’ arrested after pipe bombs find

A ‘top dog’ in a criminal gang is being questioned by gardaí on suspicion of supplying pipe bombs to other gangs across Dublin.

In a massive early morning raid in north Dublin, gardaí discovered two viable pipe bombs, a number of shotguns, and a quantity of ammunition.

The operation targeted a specific extended family in a Traveller halting site in Belcamp.
