Coveney laments a ‘nightmare summer’

It was in many ways a nightmare summer for farmers due to the wet weather, Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney said at the National Ploughing Championships yesterday.

He spent the day at the event, where he met farmers and their leaders who outlined the impact the wettest summer on record is having on their incomes.
