Police try to identify mystery man in Jill footage

Police in Melbourne have discovered the presence of a mystery man in CCTV footage of Louth woman Jill Meagher as she walked home.

The CCTV footage will be examined frame by frame to determine whether the man was following the ABC employee in the minutes before she disappeared.

At present, police are trying to identify the man. A decision will be made soon as to whether the footage will be released.
