Canada province seeks to fill 20k construction jobs
A delegation representing 85 companies from British Columbia will be in Cork, Dublin, and Belfast over the next few weeks hoping to source suitable staff to fill the rapidly increasing roles in construction coming on stream in Canada.
Abigail Fulton, the vice president of the British Columbia Construction Association, said they will have 200-300 jobs to fill this weekend and thousands more over the next few months. More jobs will come on stream for several years.
