President Michael D Higgins will be in Cork this weekend to listen to young people’s vision for a new Ireland.

The President will address 100 people aged between 17 and 26 as he hosts his second regional Being Young and Irish workshop at Nemo Rangers GAA club. The attendees will spend the day debating their vision for Ireland’s future.

The workshop is part of a wider consultation process by the President, who wants to hear young people’s view on Ireland’s future.
