Pupils get help to cope with tragedy

Pupils and staff at Anthony Ward’s school have been receiving help to cope with the tragic loss of their classmate and pupil.

He was due to return to class at Shandrum National School in Newtownshandrum on Monday morning, the day he was found dead at home, with his uniform laid out neatly nearby.

Principal Carmel Walmsley said the board, staff, and pupils were deeply saddened at his death.
