In all, 10 designers in fashion, hat makers, jewellery and textile products will be given their chance in the spotlight at the prestigious Brown Thomas store in Grafton Street, central Dublin.

The move, which is part of the Irish Designers Create 2012 week, will take place on Sep 9.

The specially curated space will feature the work of JW Anderson, Sorcha O’Raghallaigh, Rebecca Marsden, Riona Tracey, Natalie B Coleman, Lisa Ryder, Mark T Burke, Lisa Shawgi, Lorna Burton and Rainbow Winters.

Chairman of the Council of Fashion Designers, Eddie Shanahan, has organised the Irish sale promotion in an attempt to further the interest of people in designs from this country.

A spokesperson for the one-day promotion said those involved have “edited an impressive collection that easily demonstrates the depth and breadth of design talent in Ireland”.
