Airline takes on Ryanair with ‘transparent low fares’

The airline says it is offering cheaper fares than the ‘no-frills’ airline, with prices as low as €12.99 on its routes from Cork to Gdansk, Katowice, Poznan, Vilnius, Warsaw-Modlin, and Wrocklow.

The corporate communications manager with Wizz Air, Daniel de Carvalho, said: “Our passengers know that any advertised, low Wizz fare really exists and can be booked on wizzair.com with no surprise of hidden fees — something that can’t be said for other airlines,” he said.
