BBC1 quiz for Mrs Brown

Everyone’s favourite Irish mammy is set to host her own Saturday night quiz show on BBC One next year.

Agnes Brown, Brendan O’Carroll’s alter ego from his sitcom Mrs Brown’s Boys, will take to British screens in 2013 in Mrs Brown’s Celebrities.

The show will see two contestants compete against each other in a quiz aided by five celebrities, with O’Carroll’s character Mrs Brown acting as quizmaster.
