The wife of the Polish man whose car ploughed in to an Irish family’s car, killing a toddler and his unborn sister, has pleaded for people not to judge him.

Marek Wojciechowski’s widow, Agnieszka, said her depressed and suicidal husband was neither drunk nor under the influence of drugs when the car he was driving smashed in to the Twomey family’s car in Toquay on Jul 6.

Con, 39, his five-months pregnant wife, Elber, 36, from Meelin in North Cork, and 16-month-old Oisin were on their way to the ferry after a family holiday in South Devon.
