Weather scuppers summer show

The organisers of the Cork Summer Show have cancelled today’s events because of the likelihood of adverse weather.

It the second time this year’s event has had to be cancelled as a result of heavy rain.

In June, the Munster Agricultural Society, which runs the show, was forced to cancel three days’ of events including an international farriers competition and shows for cattle, sheep, horse, and pedigree dogs.
