Reilly: There is no conflict of interest and I have always acted properly

James Reilly has insisted there is no conflict of interest in his co-ownership of a nursing home that resulted in him being listed as a debt defaulter.

The health minister gave a statement to the Dáil last night in a bid to draw a line under the controversy.

He said he “at all times acted with complete propriety” and blamed “complicated litigation” for him ending up in Stubbs Gazette.
